Murdja
Estonian for beast of prey, predator

Murdja – a typeface inspired by Estonian folklore and wilderness. Characteristically irregular and sharp letterforms mirror the wintry undergrowth of Nordic woodlands.
The wild nature of the font makes it suitable for some of your more edgy projects that benefit from rougher aesthetics. Moreover, influenced by folklore and Runic letters, Murdja could very well complement ethnic designs.

The typeface is ideal for getting that unique underground look. Suitable for zines, band merchandise, gig posters, local culture events, theatre brochures, independent shops, etc. In addition to the more alternative projects, Murdja could also be used in branding, e.g. for Scandinavian wellness products, craft beers or street food.
